Internship Neuropsychology
At the cereneo rehabilitation clinics we develop an individualised treatment programme with the aim of giving our patients back the highest degree of independence and freedom in shaping their lives, thus optimising their quality of life. We treat patients who have health insurance in Switzerland as well as international patients from all over the world.
cereneo and its sister companies support patients in the various phases of their rehabilitation following a neurological illness, from inpatient and outpatient treatment to teletherapy via digital channels.
Your new Role
The aim of this internship is to provide an introduction to neuropsychological assessment and therapy for adult inpatients in a neurological rehabilitation setting. You will gain insight into clinical and diagnostic neuropsychological work, learn how to conduct a comprehensive, hypothesis-driven mental status examination including patient history-taking, apply psychometric assessment methods, become familiar with and carry out various therapeutic approaches, prepare reports, and experience the day-to-day clinical work of neuropsychology in an inpatient neurorehabilitation setting.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology; applicants currently enrolled in an advanced Master’s programme may also be considered
- Sound basic knowledge of neuroscience, particularly neuropsychology
- Motivation and ability to work independently
- Good command of German and English
