Your Responsibilities
- Professional diagnosis and therapy of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in neurological patients, particularly those with tracheostomy tubes
- Development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized therapy plans to improve swallowing function and communication skills
- Execution of decannulation procedures in close collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and physiotherapists
- Instruction and consultation for patients, relatives, and nursing staff in handling tracheostomy tubes
- Documentation and evaluation of therapy progress according to clinical standards
Your Profile
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (with EDK recognition or willingness to obtain it)
- Certified training in tracheostomy management or willingness to acquire the certification
- Experience in rehabilitative therapy, dysphagia, and tracheostomy management, or a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas
- Enjoy working independently and closely with patients in an interprofessional team
- Responsible, reflective, and socially and communicatively competent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
