Chef de Service Chalet at the hourly wage 1.5 months
Create the Magic of Christmas Together - With passion and great attention to detail, a magical Christmas market comes to life at Alpenquai in Zug, bringing people together in a unique festive atmosphere. To make this special event a success, we are looking for an enthusiastic team that enjoys working together and creating unforgettable experiences.
The Zug Christmas Market runs from 19 November to 23 December, and we are looking for a motivated Chef de Service to join our chalet team from 16 November.
Your Tasks
- Manage the restaurant in collaboration with the management team and take responsibility for the service team
- Plan and coordinate daily service, including team assignments and service briefings
- Provide professional service to our guests and at group events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly
- Create seating charts and work closely with the kitchen, bar, and event teams
- Ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Assist with ordering, administrative tasks, and daily accounting
- Act as a substitute for the restaurant manager when needed
- Lead, guide, and support the team even in hectic situations
Your Profile
- Training in the hospitality industry or at least 3 years of professional experience
- Initial leadership experience in the hospitality industry
- Fluency in German and English; French is a plus
- A warm and welcoming host with organizational skills and a hands-on approach
- An independent, reliable, and solution-oriented work style
- Open communication and a passion for leading a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
