Test Engineer / Physics Laboratory Technician (100%)

What you can expect:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced test engineer or physics laboratory technician to join our expanding development department at our Dietikon location.

Your main tasks will include testing optomechanical assemblies and modules in early development phases. Thanks to your knowledge of measurement technology, electronics and data analysis, you will be able to independently search for and eliminate errors, carry out validations and analyze and document the data generated.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out test series and validations in close collaboration with our interdisciplinary development teams
  • Preparation of test reports and technical documentation
  • Development of test systems including automation and data analysis with Python
  • Maintenance and servicing of laboratory and measuring equipment
  • Assembly of optomechanical modules
Who we are looking for:
  • Completed vocational training as a physics laboratory assistant, electronics technician, or equivalent
  • Preferably further education (BSc, HF) in systems engineering, physics, etc.
  • Experience in the assembly, testing, and validation of optomechanical prototypes
  • Experience in automation and data analysis with Python
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as medical technology, diagnostics, or aerospace is advantageous
  • Good technical understanding and enthusiasm for optics, electronics, and measurement technology
  • A strong sense of quality as well as analytical thinking and enjoyment of problem-solving
  • High ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
