Tasks
• You will operate our two planing machines, assist with set-up and carry out maintenance work. In doing so, you will process and profile solid wood in various finishes.
• On the Weinig Powermat 2400 planing machine, you will be responsible for set-up, monitoring the production process and carrying out thorough quality control.
• You will ensure that our products are manufactured efficiently and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Completed training as a woodworking technician, sawmill operator, carpenter or joiner – ideally with experience in the woodworking sector
- Experience in operating computer-controlled woodworking machinery, or a willingness to learn how to use this technology thoroughly
- An independent, resilient and down-to-earth individual with a team spirit
- A responsible, hands-on person who tackles tasks reliably
- Willingness to support the team flexibly in shift work
