Strategic buyer for indirect materials and services, 80-100%, temporary for 6 months

Tasks:

Strategic sourcing of indirect materials and services
Accountable for the independent management of tenders within indirect procurement
Conducting contract and price negotiations with a focus on the total cost of ownership (TCO)
Analysing and evaluating suppliers and market trends
Monitoring contracts and ensuring compliance with delivery conditions
Participation in projects for digitalisation and process optimisation in purchasing
Clarifying requirements and triggering orders as well as maintaining article master data in the ERP system (SAP)
Inventory management (low stock levels, high delivery readiness)
Tracking delivery dates, processing order confirmations and clarifying deviations as well as checking supplier invoices and approving them for posting

Qualifications and experience:

Commercial or technical education with additional qualification in purchasing, e.g. certification as a buyer
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing / category management, ideally in indirect procurement
Profound understanding of total cost of ownership and cost-effective procurement
Proven experience in e-procurement and process optimization, with in-depth knowledge of purchasing processes
Good project management skills, confident negotiation skills, high level of persuasiveness and strong communication skills
Good understanding of figures, strong analytical skills and quick comprehension
Very good knowledge of SAP (MM module)
Service-orientated, decisive and assertive personality who approaches complex tasks proactively and in a solution-oriented (hands-on) manner. Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English
