• Responsible for the local production process chain and the contained manufacturing processes, their development, implementation and improvement along standards to be highly competitive
• Lead routings, cost calculations, feasibility and capability studies and consult and provide technical support
• Coordinate and contribute to continuous improvement activities as well as identify and reduce risks
• Contribute to specifications, procurement, and acceptance of equipment as well as the maintenance and spare parts consignment concept (e.g. proof of concept, SAT & FAT)
• Assess capability of process technologies in place, evaluate new technologies, propose technical solutions, coordinate feasibility studies and trial runs in cooperation with R&D and Technology & Innovation Management
• Documentation in form of reports, guidelines, work instructions, analytical data evaluations and others
• Know-How exchange and training of local employees as well as sharing know-how and best practice across departments and locations

• BSc degree or a higher education in the technical field
• Proven work experience as a process engineer or in industrial manufacturing
• Curious, ambitious and self-driven team player
• Excellent process and application knowledge, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Structured and analytical skills
• German and English language skills (spoken and written)
• Ability to work interdisciplinary in a global environment as well as independently
• Knowledge of quality requirements in the automotive industry is an advantage
