Purchasing & Back Office Specialist

Today, the Aquis Group operates as a trusted technology partner at five locations – Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Germany, and Italy – employing nearly 400 people. In Italy, our team consists of 60 employees. As an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), we develop and produce unique and innovative solutions in collaboration with our partners, tailored to the needs of our customers.
We are seeking a versatile and proactive Purchasing & Commercial Back Office Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role combines responsibilities in procurement with support to the commercial back office, playing a key part in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, supplier coordination, and smooth internal operations. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in an industrial environment and is capable of navigating complex procurement processes while also supporting client-related administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan purchases according to business needs and inventory levels
- Draft, review, and manage purchasing, processing, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)
- Monitor price fluctuations and report changes to internal stakeholders
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met by closely tracking orders
- Manage supplier communication regarding complaints, returns, and quality issues in coordination with the Quality team
Requirements
- Diploma in a commercial/economic field or a bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or industrial engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of commercial contract management
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of AdHoc Revolution is a strong plus
- Strong problem-solving abilities and priority management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
