Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

For our Aftersales / Spare Parts department we are seeking for a Spare Pares Buyer (m/f/d). In this position you ensure material availability of purchased parts through the supplier base predefined by strategic purchasing. Your main tasks will be the following:

Procurement of spare parts, taking into account existing stocks, SP (ET) orders, action planning and replenishment times for purchased parts
Active procurement of all purchased parts for all product groups (order processing / order maintenance / deadline control)
Proactive control of pending deliveries via material lists
Implementation of the dunning process, as well as initiation of countermeasures and escalation to the superior in the event of delivery difficulties at supplier level
Monitoring and maintenance of master data in the central IT system (SAP)
Communication with suppliers (e.g. complaints)
Communication with colleagues from SP Purchasing Team
Communication with colleagues from Ammann Production Plants

Qualifications, Knowledge & Job Skills:

a completed, at least 3-year apprenticeship (related to a specific field)
and advances professional skills
Supply chain knowledge, in particular logistics and procurement logistics / operational purchasing
Confident knowledge of the latest versions of MS Office programs
Good written and spoken English skills
SAP knowledge
Understanding of all possible logistics costs, especially freight and packaging
Good coordination and planning skills
Strong communication skills at different levels with internal customers and suppliers, as well as employees of different hierarchies
Assertiveness in the responsible area of activity
Strong problem-solving skills and flexibility
Good self-organization and ability to work independently within the given guidelines
