Sales Operations Specialist (Supply Chain)

The Sales Operations Specialist supports the efficient execution of sales, logistics, and procurement activities to ensure smooth business operations. The role provides administrative and operational support to the commercial team (maCH), coordinates order processing and deliveries and assists with purchasing activities. It serves as a key link between customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate information flow. The position contributes to customer satisfaction and operational excellence through effective coordination and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities

Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales & Operations team.
Process customer orders and ensure accurate and up-to-date records in the ERP system.
Coordinate order fulfillment, shipment scheduling, and delivery tracking in collaboration with logistics providers.
Prepare purchase orders and coordinate procurement activities with suppliers.
Monitor supplier deliveries, follow up on outstanding orders, and resolve supply-related issues.
Prepare quotations, sales reports, and operational performance reports.
Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding order processing and delivery status.
Support the resolution of order discrepancies, invoicing issues, and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures and maintain accurate and complete documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to initiatives that enhance efficiency across sales, logistics, and procurement operations.

Your Profile

Completed commercial apprenticeship (Swiss Federal VET Diploma in Commerce, EFZ) or an equivalent qualification.
3–5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, sales operations, logistics, procurement, or a related field.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience working with ERP systems.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
