Research Associate – Antibody Discovery & in vivo Pharmacology

Role and Responsibilities:

Target validation and characterization of novel therapeutic antibody candidates.
Development and implementation of biochemical, immunohistological and cell-based assays.
Characterization of antibody candidates in animal models including dosing of animals, sampling of biofluids necropsy and tissue processing for quantitative immunohistological and biochemical analyses.
Documenting and reporting the results to the team.
The candidate will be expected to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a research team.

Requirements:

MSc, BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent degree in biological sciences.
Experience in mammalian cell culture, in vitro cellular assays and immunological techniques such as ELISA and Western blotting.
Expertise in in vivo administration of compounds (i.p/i.v.), vein bleeding techniques, necropsy and ex vivo sample processing for biochemical and immunostaining analyses
Well organized, self-motivated, ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a focus on deliverables.
